Please be aware of new Bollards

You might have noticed that we have two wooden bollards on the street corners in Loftus square.

These were installed a year or so back as a trail to prevent vehicles carelessly running over the corners of the street beds and damaging plants.

They have proven to be a success, so over the next few weeks, we will be putting in more where they are needed. They will have reflectors on them and be positioned in the beds so there will be no excuse for running into them, other than careless driving.

It is a shame to have to resort to this but, in these times of online shopping, delivery vehicles often have little respect for our beautiful garden village. Some residents are also guilty of driving over corners too so in order for this damage to stop, we will be installing bollards to keep Loftus looking lovely.
