Halloween 2020

This time last year Loftus came alive after dark with witches and ghouls and all things spooky.

It was a lovely mild dry evening and the turnout of fabulous costumes was amazing, children, parents and the odd dog took part in the tradition of dressing up and knocking doors to collect sweets. The atmosphere was brilliant.

This year however things have had to be different. Covid social distance restrictions might have put a stop to the trick or treating part of Halloween, but certainly not the fun.

Pobl would like to thank all involved in the Neighbourhood watch team who have done a fantastic job of organising a Halloween decoration event instead, with treats for all entries.

The house and window decorations have been very imaginative and have put a big smile on lots of faces.

The community “spirit” (excuse the pun) has been wonderful.
