Hathaway Street and Loftus Grove Following a meeting with Highways, Councillor Jeavons and Pobl, an agreement has been reached to address the issue of the replacement bollards which separates Hathaway Street and Loftus Grove. The proposal will involve a permeant fence and a single “A” frame entrance to the path. The proposal has been sent to Lovells and it is anticipated that they will complete these works by end of September 2019. Thanks to Bradley Miller Loftus Garden Village now has now opened a 5 star Bee‘n’Bee. Bradley came to us initially for one day to experience something new and immediately got hooked. He ended up spending 18 days helping us out at Loftus and loved it so much that we arranged a day for his fellow Pobl Academy come along and experience Loftus for themselves. These were done in the early stages of the development by a group of art students from college Gwent after doing a project on the storey of Ruby Loftus. Payment reminders

Estate Charge payments Pobl sent out payment reminders at the start of June 2019 to residents relating to the estate charge for 2019/2020. It would appear a number of payments have either not been received or have been allocated to different accounts. The finance department have a large number of transactions to post a day and without the relevant information it can be very difficult to post correctly. New safety speed signage To help promote a safe speed limit around Loftus Garden Village we updated residents on the entries in the Road Safety competition back in May 2019. We have now had these entries made into signs and they have been displayed around Loftus alongside the 20 is plenty’ signs to promote a safe speed limit for Loftus. Summer is just around the corner. “The longest day of the year is just around the corner”. When you say it out load it’s scary.
