This past month Paul and I have been tackling some of the unforeseen problems that inevitably come with any new site. One job I’ve been itching to do all summer is replace the Viburnum shrubs in the pond park that get defoliated each year by the Viburnam beetle. Results of the speed awareness survey undertaken at Loftus have been provided by Streetwise. The key finding to emerge from the survey is that the speed of 95% of the vehicles travelling through the survey area were shown to be within the acceptable speed tolerance level of 20 mph. Loftus Christmas Tree 2019 Pobl is currently considering providing a Christmas tree at Loftus near the lake in the Public Open Space area. Pobl has decided to undertake a short survey in order to assess the level of interest of residents in the project.
