Speed monitoring update at Loftus

Results of the speed awareness survey undertaken at Loftus have been provided by Streetwise.

The key finding to emerge from the survey is that the speed of 95% of the vehicles travelling through the survey area were shown to be within the acceptable speed tolerance level of 20 mph.

Pobl are aware that the Neighbourhood Watch has noted that there are still a few cars traveling at speed along Loftus Avenue and Loftus Square. The opportunity of using a community speed camera to help identify cars speeding at Loftus has been offered to the Neighbourhood Watch Group by the police and Pobl are actively supporting this initiative.
